OHEIB communicates through a newsletter, e-published four times a year, and an e-mail network to keep members informed of current issues, meetings, job postings, conferences, resources and news of members.

An annual Membership Directory provides members with a complete listing and is an invaluable contact resource. A Freelance Directory provides consultants with a vehicle to promote their services to potential clients, and freelance rate guidelines.

OHEIB honours two Home Economists each year with presentations of the Hall of Fame Award and the Sally Henry Award at the Annual General Meeting.
